Test and Evaluation (T&E)

Test and evaluation is a process used to ensure that a new or enhanced capability / system satisfies the operational requirements of the user.  Test and evaluation is an integral part of materiel management, including research and development, acquisition and through life support.  The objectives of test and evaluation include:

bullet

assessing equipment performance relative to systems specifications, and

bullet

providing information to support objective assessment regarding the technical and operational acceptability of the equipment.

Test and evaluation activities are applied to the ILS elements acquired to support materiel systems.  Test and evaluation is undertaken to measure supportability of a developing system, to identify supportability deficiencies, and to assess the effectiveness of planned support systems.

Exair can develop the T&E program and associated documentation to ensure your customer understands and accepts the T&E activity at all stages of the development in achievement of the specification and operational requirements.
