Facilities Facilities encompass all of the considerations necessary to establish permanent and semi-permanent works and associated machinery and plant needed to operate and support the equipment / system throughout its in-service life. Facilities form a major part of the support infra-structure. Exair encourages flexibility in design of facilities as it is well documented and understood that physical attributes and needs of equipment housed in a support facility change during the life of type of the supported equipment / system. Hidden costs are usually associated with the civil works required to integrate replacement plant and machinery into facilities.
