Antenna Design

Exair staff have specialist knowledge and experience in the design and development of HF, VHF and UHF antennas and their installation for civil, defence and government agencies in a diverse range of environments and applications.  They bring to the design requirements the capability of deploying low visibility or stealth antennas to permanent, portable and mobile applications.  

Staff members regularly conduct training in the assessment of the communications need, selection of the most appropriate antenna type, followed by the design, construction and adjustment of the antenna for the optimum performance over the desired communications path using minimum RF power.  Trainees are encouraged to identify and use readily available materials in the area and fixed objects for use as antennas.
