Integrated Logistic Support Concept (ILSC) ILS in the Concept Phase is focussed on a broad description of the logistic support required to enable a capability to be operated effectively throughout its life. An ILSC is produced from the Use Study Report which provides the system readiness objectives, the mission profile(s) and the required qualitative support factors. The ILSC must contain sufficient detail to influence design and allow the support requirements, including LCC, to be identified as early as possible. The support requirements must be developed iteratively throughout the project cycle and be progressively revisited and refined as the project matures. The ILSC will generally only contain conceptual information. The more detailed planning information is developed in the subsequent Integrated Logistic Support Plan (ILSP). Integrated Logistic Support Plan (ILSP) ILS requirements during the Acquisition Phase are detailed in the ILSP. This document aims to define, coordinate, procure and monitor the ILS requirements identified during the Concept Phase. The ILSP describes in detail the approach that will be taken to acquire the ILS requirements identified in the ILSC. Integrated Logistic Support Instruction (ILSI) ILS requirements for the in-service phase of a capability are detailed in the ILSI. The ILSI details the arrangements to commence introduction into service, transition support arrangements for the capability from acquisition to in-service and maintain effective support for the capability throughout its Life Of Type (LOT). The instruction requires to be updated regularly throughout the life of the capability to reflect changing logistic support arrangements.
